DESIGNER

Kerry Clarkson Valdivia is a British-Peruvian designer with a love of minimalism and heritage craft. She applies longevity in design-thinking to the entire Taka ecosystem, creating fashion artifacts that merge with the socially progressive values we want to see in the world.

Kerry has an international background and has spent much of her adult life investigating artisan craftsmanship around the world. In a time of mass-production replacing artisan craft, her focus has been on building a knowledge base around the handmade, and combining this heritage skill with ecologically sound materials. 

Kerry's visual language is based around reduction and creating more with less.
